Anheuser-Busch Launches Social Media Online Promotion

It seems every brand marketer is scouring the Web searching for that untapped, yet largely built, social networking partnership to integrate within their next online promotion. Recently, Anheuser-Busch partnered with minglenow for access to the over 300,000 members of the social networking site. Their social-media based campaign, "Clink", encourages minglenow members to submit photos of them and their friends "clinking" their glasses together and posting them to the site. In this instance, another major factor in the selection of minglenow, was their target demographic of 21-35 year old versus the under 21 demographics of other major communities and social networks, as mentioned in the BizReport article.
